Paris Basketball continued its strong EuroLeague campaign with a commanding 105–87 victory over Baskonia on Wednesday night, improving to 3–1 in Round 4 action.
Nadir Hifi and Justin Robinson led the way for the French club, combining for 50 points in a display of offensive consistency and control. Their alternating rhythm throughout the game kept the visitors off balance and underscored Paris’s depth in the backcourt.
Despite a quiet start, Hifi found his rhythm midway through the opening quarter after Robinson came off the bench to ignite the offense with five quick points. The two guards traded scoring duties seamlessly, helping Paris close the first period up 30–21.
Hifi, who entered the contest as the EuroLeague’s top scorer, reached double figures early in the second quarter before Robinson took over again with a pair of three-pointers. Paris led 51–47 at halftime, maintaining momentum on both ends of the court.
The duo continued to punish Baskonia’s defense in the third quarter, combining for 16 points as Paris built a 79–71 lead heading into the final frame.
Baskonia’s hopes of a comeback faded quickly when key scorers Markus Howard and Trent Forrest exited due to injuries. Paris capitalized with a 10–2 run midway through the fourth, sparked by Robinson’s drives and back-to-back triples from Hifi to extend the lead to 95–81.
Hifi finished with 29 points on 8-for-9 shooting inside the arc, adding 5 assists and 4 steals—three of them coming in the fourth quarter. Robinson contributed 21 points and 4 assists off the bench.
Paris outshot Baskonia 66.7% to 60% on two-pointers and forced 16 turnovers. The French side’s bench also outscored its opponent’s 60–38.
Baskonia, now 0–4, was led by Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot with 20 points, while Maik Nowell and Mario Spagnolo chipped in 14 and 2 respectively.
With its third straight win, Paris will look to continue its home dominance when it hosts Hapoel Tel Aviv next. Baskonia will aim to rebound when it faces Partizan in its upcoming matchup.
