The Memphis Grizzlies have reached an agreement with forward Charlie Brown Jr., according to NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Brown brings four years of NBA experience with stops in Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Philadelphia, and New York. He has appeared in 49 career games, averaging 2.0 points and 1.1 rebounds across limited minutes.
While his NBA numbers are modest, the 27-year-old has been a steady contributor in the G League. Last season with the Westchester Knicks, he averaged 17.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 33.3 minutes per game.
In 2024-25, Brown split time with Raptors 905, posting 12.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest. His length on the wing and ability to defend multiple positions kept him on NBA radars despite limited production at the top level.
Memphis has been active this offseason under new head coach Tuomas Iisalo. The organization added rookies Yang Hansen, Javon Small, and Will Richard in the 2025 NBA Draft, while also filling out the roster with veterans like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Jock Landale.
