The Charlotte Hornets made a roster adjustment by officially signing forward Isaih Moore, a 6’10” big man who spent last season with their G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm.
To create space, the team waived guard Terrell Brown Jr., who had only been on the roster for a day after signing on Tuesday.
The Hornets didn’t release the terms of Moore’s new contract, but it’s expected to be an Exhibit 10 deal. Such agreements can include a bonus of up to $85,300 if the player returns to the Swarm and remains there for at least 60 days.
With this transaction, Charlotte sits at the offseason maximum of 21 players.
Moore, 25, logged 20 G League appearances last season, where he posted averages of 4.9 points and 4.6 rebounds in just over 12 minutes per game.
Before that, he played with Sioux Falls in the G League following his undrafted entry into the pros out of Fresno State in 2023.
Meanwhile, Brown’s brief stint mirrors a recent pattern for Charlotte, which has signed and waived multiple players in quick succession – often to make them eligible for G League bonuses.
Over the past week, the Hornets have cycled through names such as DJ Rodman, Marcus Garrett, Brandon Slater, and Keyontae Johnson in similar moves.
