EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has signed Italian national team center Leonardo Tote to a multi-year contract, marking his first move to a EuroLeague club.

Tote, 28, arrives from Napoli Basket after averaging 14.0 points on 63.4% shooting, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks across 30 Italian League games last season.

The 2.11-meter big man expressed his excitement following the official announcement. “I am happy, proud, and honored to join a prestigious and successful club like Olimpia Milano, with its tradition and goals,” Tote said. “For me, it’s like a dream come true. I can’t wait to start working with my new teammates, the coaching staff, and finally play in front of the Olimpia fans.”

The signing strengthens Milan’s frontcourt, which has faced depth issues due to injuries in recent years. His arrival adds interior scoring and rim protection to a roster that has aspirations of competing at the highest level in the EuroLeague.

Tote began his professional career in 2015 with Brescia, where he contributed to the club’s promotion from Serie A2 to the Italian top division. He later spent time with Verona and Jesi in the second tier before a breakthrough in Serie A with Pesaro.

His steady progression included stints at Fortitudo Bologna and another run with Pesaro, along with international experience in Spain with Bilbao Basket. Last summer, he moved to Napoli, where he emerged as one of the league’s most consistent performers.

Beyond his club career, Tote has been a regular contributor for the Italian national team, representing his country across youth levels from U17 to U20 before joining the senior squad. His addition to Milan gives head coach Ettore Messina another versatile option in the paint, capable of impacting both ends of the floor.
