A beach vacation turned into a nightmare for Eleonora Boi, the pregnant wife of former NBA player Danilo Gallinari, after she was attacked by a shark near the shore at Puerto Rico’s Carolina Resort beach.

“I never thought I could get attacked by a shark,” Boi wrote on Instagram. “And I was near the shore and on a super crowded beach.”

Despite the terrifying incident, Boi reassured followers that she and the baby are doing fine. She underwent surgery for a leg injury and shared a hospital photo with a playful face, showing strength through humor.

“The shark will hear from my lawyers,” she joked.

Local officials confirmed she was bitten in the thigh but is in stable condition. Boi, who shares two kids with Gallinari, said her focus now is on healing – both physically and mentally.
