Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce are reportedly pursuing Washington Wizards center Richaun Holmes, according to Sportando, citing Backdoor Podcast and Shot Vetakis as sources.

The 31-year-old has drawn interest from both EuroLeague powerhouses as they look to bolster their frontcourts ahead of the 2025 season.

The 2024 and 2025 EuroLeague champions are exploring the possibility of bringing the veteran big man overseas.

Holmes played for the Dallas Mavericks and the Wizards during the 2023–24 NBA season, appearing in 40 games combined.

Since joining Washington midseason, the 6-foot-10 center has averaged 7.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 31 games, shooting 64.7% from the field.

Holmes, a 10-year NBA veteran, is known for his efficient interior scoring, quick footwork in the paint, and strong pick-and-roll instincts.

His most productive stretch came with the Sacramento Kings between 2019 and 2021, where he posted back-to-back seasons averaging over 12 points and eight rebounds per game.

In 489 regular-season NBA appearances, Holmes has averaged 8.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks while shooting over 60% from the floor.
