The Houston Rockets have signed forward Isaiah Crawford to a two-way contract, according to a report by Michael Scotto.
Crawford joins the Rockets after averaging 13.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 37 G League games with the Stockton Kings this past season. He shot 47.1% from the field and 40.1% from beyond the arc.
Crawford initially signed a two-way deal with the Sacramento Kings after going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft but saw limited action in the NBA.
In 15 appearances for Sacramento, he played just 3.1 minutes per game, averaging 0.9 points.
His production in the G League, however, caught the attention of Houston’s front office.
A standout at Louisiana Tech prior to going pro, Crawford was known for his defensive instincts and efficient perimeter shooting.
With Houston continuing to prioritize player development, Crawford’s two-way deal gives him an opportunity to earn minutes in a competitive roster environment.
The 6-foot-6 forward also averaged 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks per game in the G League.
