Bronny James’ noticeable growth stood out as the most meaningful takeaway from the Los Angeles Lakers’ Summer League campaign, according to Khobi Price of The Orange County Register.

Throughout his time in Las Vegas, Bronny showcased greater poise and aggressiveness on offense, averaging 14.2 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Compared to last year, he looked far more confident attacking defenses and creating opportunities for himself and teammates.

Despite his improved offensive presence, there are still clear areas for development. Price points out that Bronny struggled with his outside shot, connecting on just 29.6% of his attempts from beyond the arc.

Additionally, his defensive consistency remains a work in progress – an aspect he’ll need to refine to secure a meaningful role at the next level.

Still, his performance marked a step forward and offered encouraging signs for the Lakers’ player development staff.
