San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager have a relationship that when seen on camera, we can only laugh at.

From Popovich making fun of Sager’s suit, blowing his nose with his handkerchief to the Spurs play caller reminding Sager on numerous occasions that you’re only allowed to ask two questions (a well known rule in Turner’s sideline reporting rules).

(The beginning of this clip features some classic Popovich/Sager moments)

But amid all the humour and banter that they both share between quarters, they are close friends.

And to commemorate their friendship, a company by the aptly titled Patti Lapel have designed a special pin with 15 percent of the $10 it costs going to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Last week, Sager was given three to six months left to live after learning that his acute myeloid leukemia, an aggressive type of cancer that he has been fighting since April 2014 was no longer in remission. He is still receiving treatment for his condition.
