The Los Angeles Clippers have signed guard Kobe Sanders to a two-way deal, securing the rights to the No. 50 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported Thursday that Sanders’ agent, Shaun Hickombottom of Ontime Agency Group, confirmed the agreement following the draft-night trade from the New York Knicks to the Clippers.
Sanders, 23, comes off a productive college career that concluded with a strong season at Nevada. He averaged 15.8 points, 4.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game in 2024–25, earning All-Mountain West third-team honors.
Before transferring to Nevada, Sanders spent four seasons at Cal Poly, where he developed into one of the Big West’s top scorers. In his senior year with the Mustangs, he posted 19.6 points per game and set school records for free throws made in a game and in a season.
His performance at the 2025 NBA Draft Combine and his consistent scoring ability helped him climb into the second round of the draft. Though drafted by New York, his rights were sent to the Clippers as part of a draft-night deal.
With the two-way contract, Sanders will split time between the Clippers and their G League affiliate, giving him an opportunity to develop while contributing at the NBA level when called upon.
