The Indiana Pacers have officially signed rookie guard Kam Jones to a four-year, $8.7 million contract after acquiring him in a draft-night trade, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Jones, who was selected 38th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2025 NBA Draft, now begins his professional career in Indianapolis.

The first year of Jones’ contract is fully guaranteed, and half of his second-year salary is guaranteed, per Scotto. The agreement also includes a third-year trigger date and a team option for the fourth season.

Jones, 23, comes to the NBA after an impressive four-year career at Marquette. He earned Consensus Second-Team All-American honors in 2025 and was a unanimous First-Team All-Big East selection that same year.

Over 137 college games, Jones averaged 14.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists while shooting 47.5% from the field and 36.6% from three-point range. In his senior season, he posted career highs with 19.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game.

With his deal finalized, Jones is expected to join the team for summer league action as he prepares for his NBA debut this fall.
