The Los Angeles Lakers have joined a growing list of NBA teams showing interest in free agent guard Ryan Rollins, league sources told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Rollins, 23, is coming off the best season of his career and has also drawn attention from the Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, and Portland Trail Blazers.

Selected 44th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, Rollins was immediately traded to the Golden State Warriors, where he signed his rookie contract.

His early career was hampered by injuries, including season-ending surgery in February 2023 to repair a Jones fracture in his right foot.

Rollins was traded to the Washington Wizards in July 2023 as part of the deal that sent Chris Paul to Golden State, but he was waived by the Wizards in January 2024.

He then signed a two-way contract with the Bucks in February 2024, which was converted to a standard NBA contract in March 2025.

Despite showing promise with Milwaukee during the 2024-25 season, appearing in 56 games and starting 19, Rollins was waived by the Bucks, making him an unrestricted free agent.

In his most recent season, Rollins averaged 6.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, shooting 48.7% from the field and 40.8% from three-point range.
