The Sacramento Kings are reportedly set to sign guard Dennis Schroder to a two-year deal worth $30 million, according to sources cited by Marc Stein of The Stein Line and Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider.

Represented by agent Mark Bartelstein, Schroder posted averages of 13.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists last season, with a Player Efficiency Rating (PER) of 12.5.

Additionally, sources indicate that even if the Kings finalize a deal with Schroder, they may still pursue another experienced point guard such as Russell Westbrook or Malcolm Brogdon to further bolster their backcourt depth.

Brogdon, in particular, is also being targeted by the Dallas Mavericks.

On the same day, the Kings confirmed they exercised their team options on Keon Ellis and Isaac Jones, solidifying part of their roster for the upcoming season.
