Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with swingman Kameron Taylor on a two-year deal, reinforcing its roster ahead of its return to the EuroLeague in the 2025–26 season.

The Spanish club activated Taylor’s release clause to secure his exit from Unicaja Malaga, where he had just completed a highly decorated campaign that included four trophies and MVP honors at the Supercopa Endesa.

Taylor, 30, averaged 10 points on 38.4% shooting from beyond the arc, 4.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.2 steals over 61 games across all competitions in the 2024–25 season. He was Unicaja’s most efficient player in both the Liga Endesa and Copa del Rey, earning selection to the league’s Second Best Five.

Defensively, the Maryland native posted a 105.3 defensive rating in Liga Endesa action, placing him 10th league-wide. His +5.3 on/off impact ranked 11th in the competition.

Taylor’s journey to the EuroLeague spotlight began in Germany’s third-tier ProB with Dragons Rhondorf before climbing the ranks with clubs like s.Oliver Wurzburg and Brose Bamberg. He later earned a EuroLeague debut with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 2021–22 season.

After limited minutes in Israel, Taylor revived his career in France with Strasbourg and then broke out in Spain with Basquet Girona. His performance there led to a move to Unicaja, where he played a key role in back-to-back Basketball Champions League titles in 2024 and 2025.

In Unicaja’s 2024–25 campaign, Taylor was named MVP of the Supercopa Endesa final against Real Madrid and led his team in efficiency during the Copa del Rey title run.

Valencia, which last played in the EuroLeague during the 2023–24 season, will return to the competition in 2025–26.
