Eli Ndiaye is headed to the NBA after agreeing to a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks, according to a report from Shams Charania.
The 21-year-old forward departs Real Madrid after making 36 appearances in the Spanish ACB and 25 in the EuroLeague during the 2024–25 campaign. A product of Real Madrid’s youth system, Ndiaye now becomes the latest international prospect to join Atlanta’s developmental pipeline.
In EuroLeague play this season, the Senegal-born player averaged 3.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and shot 54.5% from two-point range in just under 14 minutes per game. He also added 0.5 assists and 0.6 steals per contest while appearing in 19 games as a starter.
Ndiaye’s domestic production was similar. In Liga ACB action, he logged 3.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game while shooting 56.4% on two-point attempts and 28.4% from beyond the arc.
Atlanta enters the 2025 offseason with a need to develop young frontcourt talent. The franchise finished 40–42 and exited the postseason after losing both Play-In games to Orlando and Miami.
Under a two-way contract, Ndiaye will split time between the Hawks and their G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. Two-way players can spend up to 50 games on an NBA roster during the regular season.
