The Toronto Raptors are gauging interest around the league for forward RJ Barrett, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

League sources told Scotto that the organization is exploring potential deals involving Barrett, who is entering the third year of a four-year, $107 million contract.

Barrett, 25, averaged 21.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.4 assists over 58 games in the 2024–25 season.

He shot 46.8 percent from the field and 35 percent from beyond the arc, starting every game he played.

The former third overall pick was acquired by Toronto from the New York Knicks in December 2023 as part of the OG Anunoby trade.

Barrett’s scoring efficiency improved this past season, but the Raptors struggled to a 30–52 record, finishing 11th in the Eastern Conference and missing the Play-In Tournament.

With $57.32 million owed to Barrett over the next two seasons, Toronto is weighing its options as the front office continues reshaping the roster under head coach Darko Rajakovic.
