Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley envisions new guard Desmond Bane bringing consistent three-point shooting/shot creation/playmaking to the offense (traded by the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony, four unprotected first-round picks, and a 2029 first-round pick swap).
(via Orlando Magic):
Reporter: “Consistent three-point shooting has been kinda a missing piece to the Magic’s puzzle. How does he fill that role?”
Mosley: “He’s very consistent. I know his catch-and-shoot threes are huge, and he can also create his own shot. I think that’s very important as well because as teams continue to load up and they sit in the paint and they’re waiting to stop our attacks — his ability to create his own shot but also create for others is gonna be huge.”
