Following a pattern established in recent years, the Washington Wizards are once again open to moving up in the NBA Draft if it means landing a prospect they covet, according to Josh Robbins of The Athletic.

After trading up a spot in the 2023 draft to select Bilal Coulibaly and moving two spots in 2024 to land Kyshawn George, Washington appears ready to act aggressively if the right player is within reach.

Robbins suggests that general manager Will Dawkins and the Wizards’ front office wouldn’t hesitate to package assets to move up from either the No. 6 or No. 18 pick in this year’s draft.

With a long-term rebuild underway, the team is prioritizing upside and positional fit.
