The Golden State Warriors announced on Wednesday that guard Brandon Podziemski has successfully undergone a surgical procedure on his left wrist, specifically a debridement to address lingering issues.

The team remains optimistic about his recovery timeline and anticipates that he will be fully cleared in time for the beginning of training camp.

Podziemski made a solid impact during his rookie season, posting averages of 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.

His versatile play and high basketball IQ were key contributions throughout the season, and the organization is hopeful that he will return to form once fully recovered.

In addition to Podziemski, fellow guard Moses Moody also recently underwent surgery to address an injury to his thumb.

Like Podziemski, Moody is expected to be ready to participate fully in training camp as the Warriors begin preparations for the upcoming season.

These off-season procedures are part of the team’s strategy to ensure player health and readiness for what they hope will be a competitive campaign.
