Ja Morant has been officially ruled out for Game 4 of the playoff series between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder, scheduled for Saturday, due to a hip injury.
The setback occurred during Memphis’ defeat in Game 3 on Thursday night. Following the game, Morant was seen using crutches, signaling the severity of the injury.
This isn’t Morant’s first injury battle of the postseason. Just last week, he played through a painful ankle sprain to help secure the Grizzlies’ spot in the playoffs, demonstrating both his toughness and commitment to the team.
As the series continues, the Thunder hold a commanding 3-0 lead and are now just one win away from sweeping the Grizzlies and advancing to the next round.
Memphis will face a steep challenge trying to extend the series without their star point guard on the floor.
