Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson is focused on bringing professionalism heading into the final year of his contract.

(via Utah Jazz):

Reporter: “If the team is still young next year in September and you’re going into the last year of your contract, do you think you’d rather play somewhere else?”

Clarkson: “Nah. I think I’ll be whatever’s on my plate — I’m taking advantage of it. If that’s being here and being a vet and doing that… Do I want that? Probably not. But if that’s what I’ve gotta do to be a pro, come in here and work every day and help these young guys develop — that’s what I’ve gotta do. But if it goes somewhere else… We playing meaningful basketball here — it’s the same role. Either way I’m coming here, be a professional and get the job done.”
