Here’s Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan on Coby White’s spectacular second half of the season (averaging 26.1 PPG/4.2 RPG/4.3 APG/1.0 SPG/5.9 FTA/50.2% FG/38.1% 3-PT/90.4% FT/+3.0 +/- since the All-Star break).
(via After the Buzzer):
“Coby’s been great. I think he’s playing really well. I think the one thing that’s helped him is he’s really figured out different angles and ways to get himself to the free throw line, because I don’t know what the numbers look like since the All-Star break, but I don’t really remember him attacking the basket in this way and getting himself to the free throw line as well. He’s got really good I think awareness now of where defenders are and where he’s got an advantage. But I think all the way around, just the way he’s shooting the ball, his shot selection, the way he’s spraying it out, the way he’s generating shots for others — I think he’s got a really, really nice blend of keeping himself aggressive, with at the same point, keeping everyone else involved.”
