The Brooklyn Nets pulled off a stunning comeback against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night, securing a 113-109 win on the road.

Keon Johnson led Brooklyn with 24 points, helping the Nets (25-51) secure back-to-back victories for the first time since mid-February.

D’Angelo Russell contributed 18 points and 11 assists, while the team overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit with a decisive 12-0 run.

Despite missing leading scorer Cam Johnson due to a back injury, Brooklyn found offensive rhythm, draining 20 three-pointers compared to Dallas’ 10.

Nic Claxton sealed the game with a crucial three-point play in the final minute, extending the Nets’ lead to 111-107 with 47 seconds left.

Daniel Gafford made his return for the Mavericks (37-39) after a long absence and finished with 17 points.

Anthony Davis, still finding his form after recovering from injury, posted 12 points and seven rebounds in his first home game since February.

Dallas, which was looking to reach .500 for the first time since March 10, struggled down the stretch and fell back to ninth place in the Western Conference.

The Nets’ long-range shooting proved to be a major factor, with the team hitting 39.2% from beyond the arc while Dallas shot just 33.3%.

Jalen Wilson and Drew Timme, both playing in front of hometown fans in Texas, contributed 12 and nine points, respectively.

For the Mavericks, Klay Thompson had 13 points but struggled from deep, hitting just 3-of-12 from three-point range.

Spencer Dinwiddie added 11 points and eight assists, but his late-game efforts weren’t enough to fend off the Nets’ surge.

Dallas got a spark from its bench, as Max Christie contributed 12 points, while Jaden Hardy and Kai Jones combined for 16.

Despite strong rebounding, the Mavericks were plagued by poor free-throw shooting, making just 58.6% (17-of-29) from the line.

With the loss, Dallas remains a half-game ahead of the Sacramento Kings for the final play-in tournament spot.
