Jimmy Butler recorded 24 points, eight rebounds, and 10 assists to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 104-93 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night. Playing without Stephen Curry, the Warriors improved to 40-29 and remained sixth in the Western Conference standings.

Curry, who recently became the first player in NBA history to reach 4,000 career three-pointers, was given the night off for rest. Brandin Podziemski stepped into the starting lineup and delivered 17 points and seven rebounds, while Buddy Hield added 15 points off the bench.

Golden State built an early lead with a 32-point first quarter and held off a late push from Milwaukee. The Bucks, who dropped to 38-30, struggled offensively, shooting 39.2% from the field and 31.6% from deep. Kyle Kuzma led Milwaukee with 22 points, including five three-pointers, while Giannis Antetokounmpo contributed 20 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.

Damian Lillard and Brook Lopez each finished with 16 points for the Bucks, but their efforts weren’t enough to overcome Golden State’s defensive pressure. The Warriors limited Milwaukee to just 17 points in the second and fourth quarters.

After Gary Trent Jr. missed a three-pointer that could have cut the deficit late in the fourth, Podziemski responded with his third triple of the game to help seal the win.
