The Toronto Raptors ended their four-game losing streak in Utah by defeating the Jazz 126-118 on Friday night. Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley each scored 20 points to lead Toronto to its 24th win of the season.
A.J. Lawson contributed 18 points off the bench, while RJ Barrett added 17. Orlando Robinson recorded a double-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, helping the Raptors outlast Utah in a high-scoring matchup.
Quickley hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 43 seconds left in the third quarter, sparking a 16-2 run that pushed Toronto’s lead to 15 points with just over eight minutes remaining. The Raptors controlled the final stretch to secure the win.
Jordan Clarkson led the struggling Jazz with 19 points as Utah dropped its eighth consecutive game. Kyle Filipowski had 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Lauri Markkanen finished with 16 points after briefly exiting in the second half.
The Jazz made 10 of their 20 three-point attempts in the first half and held a 58-56 lead at halftime. However, they cooled off after the break, hitting just six of their 18 attempts from beyond the arc in the second half.
Utah was without Walker Kessler. The 7-footer was a coach’s decision DNP.
With the win, Toronto improved to 24-43 and remains 11th in the Eastern Conference. Utah, now 15-52, sits at the bottom of the Western Conference standings.
