Mikal Bridges hit a deep three-pointer at the buzzer to give the New York Knicks a dramatic 114-113 overtime win against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.

Bridges led New York with 33 points, while OG Anunoby contributed 23 as the team secured its second straight victory.

The Knicks, now 42-23 and third in the Eastern Conference, improved to 2-2 on their five-game West Coast road trip with one game remaining.

Portland, which dropped its fifth consecutive game, was led by Scoot Henderson’s 30 points and Deni Avdija’s 27.

Avdija also grabbed 15 rebounds and briefly put the Trail Blazers ahead 113-111 with a three-point play with three seconds left in overtime.

Karl-Anthony Towns added 21 points for New York, shooting 8-for-12 from the field, including two clutch three-pointers late in regulation.

Henderson was instrumental in forcing overtime, scoring eight points in the final 1:06 of the fourth quarter, including a three-point play and two free throws.

Jalen Brunson’s absence due to a right ankle sprain left the Knicks with a significant void, but Bridges’ heroics helped the team stay within 4.5 games of the Boston Celtics in the Atlantic Division.

Miles McBride and Mitchell Robinson played key defensive roles in overtime, blocking crucial shots to keep New York in the game.

Portland, now 28-39 and 11th in the Western Conference, has little margin for error in its remaining six games of a seven-game homestand if it hopes to stay in the postseason hunt.

The Trail Blazers struggled from the free-throw line, converting just 16 of 25 attempts, and committed 23 turnovers compared to the Knicks’ 15.

New York led 26-21 after the first quarter but saw Portland fight back to take a one-point lead at halftime.

The teams remained neck and neck in the second half, with neither squad leading by more than five points.

Henderson’s clutch performance down the stretch tied the game at 106, forcing overtime and setting up Bridges’ game-winner.

Despite the loss, Avdija continued his strong play for Portland, delivering an efficient scoring night while dominating the glass.
