Luke Kennard and Ja Morant powered the Memphis Grizzlies to a 122-115 victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, securing the team’s fourth consecutive win.

Kennard erupted for 30 points on 11-for-14 shooting, including 7-for-9 from three-point range.

Morant added 28 points, shooting 8-for-17 from the field and 4-for-7 from deep, while also dishing out seven assists.

Desmond Bane contributed 17 points and nine assists as the Grizzlies (42-24) strengthened their hold on the second seed in the Western Conference.

Collin Sexton led the Jazz (15-51) with 22 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, but Utah dropped its seventh straight game.

John Collins also scored 22 points, while Lauri Markkanen finished with 14 in the loss.

Utah had a chance late when Sexton put them ahead 115-114 with 1:16 remaining. Kennard answered with a three-pointer, giving Memphis the lead for good. Morant followed with another three to extend the margin to 120-115 with 12 seconds left.

Memphis made 20 of its 44 attempts from beyond the arc, while Utah shot just 12-for-34 from deep.

Despite their struggles from long range, the Jazz dominated the glass, outrebounding Memphis 60-39, including a 17-5 edge on the offensive boards.

Kennard’s clutch shooting proved to be the difference, as his four-point play with 2:50 left gave the Grizzlies a 114-111 lead.

Scotty Pippen Jr. provided a spark off the bench for Memphis, tallying 11 points and six assists.

Utah’s Isaiah Collier finished with 11 points and six assists but committed seven turnovers.
