North Dakota junior Treysen Eaglestaff has decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal while also exploring his prospects in the 2025 NBA Draft, his agent George S. Langberg informed Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

This move will allow Eaglestaff to gauge interest from both professional teams and collegiate programs as he weighs his next steps.

Although Eaglestaff was not featured in Givony’s most recent top-100 rankings for the 2025 draft, he made a significant impact during the 2024-25 season as a high-level scorer for the Fighting Hawks.

Throughout 33 games, the 6’6” shooting guard posted impressive numbers, averaging 18.9 points per game while shooting 41.6% from the field, 35.9% from three-point range, and 79.4% from the free-throw line.

Eaglestaff’s scoring prowess was highlighted by several standout performances, most notably his explosive 51-point effort in the quarterfinals of the Summit League tournament against South Dakota State.

That performance, which took place last Friday, was one of the most dominant individual displays of the season.

Earlier in the year, on December 18, he also delivered a remarkable 40-point game in a matchup against Alabama.

In both contests, he showcased his elite shooting ability by hitting a career-high eight three-pointers.
