
The San Antonio Spurs have extended Bismack Biyombo’s stay by signing him to a second 10-day contract.
Biyombo, standing 6-8 and weighing 255 pounds, initially joined the Spurs on February 9 with a 10-day deal and has played in two games since.
In his only start, Biyombo contributed 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal in 16 minutes, helping the Spurs secure a victory over the Suns on February 20.
A 13-year NBA veteran, Biyombo was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft.
Throughout his career, he has played for the Charlotte Bobcats, Toronto Raptors, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, and Memphis Grizzlies.
Across 841 career games (352 starts), he averages 5.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 19.5 minutes per game.
