Charlotte Hornets head coach Charles Lee spoke highly about Josh Green’s all-around skillset following Thursday’s 129-115 road loss vs. the Denver Nuggets (19 points/3 rebounds/2 assists/1 steal/7-13 FG/5-8 3-PT/+1 +/-).
(via Charlotte Hornets):
“He’s an elite two-way player. I think that I’m happy that everyone gets to see his offensive game on display a little bit more. I think that when we identified him this year during this offseason, we knew what he was capable of and we knew that he was kinda just scratching the surface. Defensively, he’s just scratching the surface. There’s still more for him to do and his impact is always felt there. Offensively, he plays with such great energy. He’s always a relentless offensive rebounder. He’s always so selfless, too. He’s always thinking about, ‘How can I help somebody else get an open shot and create for somebody else.’ I think that with the coaching staff and himself, we’re just trying to push the envelope where he’s also thinking about his own offense at times, too.”
