Reports from Marc Stein of The Stein Line suggest that there is no significant disappointment within Luka Doncic’s camp regarding the Lakers’ failed trade for Mark Williams, a player reportedly “handpicked” by Doncic.

Stein adds that Doncic communicated to Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka that he understood the team may not be able to secure a starting-caliber center until the offseason.

Furthermore, Doncic expressed appreciation for the efforts made by Pelinka and the front office, noting how they nearly fulfilled this need just days after finalizing their trade with the Mavericks.
