The Cleveland Cavaliers cruised past the Toronto Raptors 131-108 on Wednesday night, securing their fourth consecutive victory. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 21 points as the Eastern Conference leaders improved to 44-10.
Cleveland controlled the game from the opening tip, jumping out to a 41-17 lead after the first quarter. The Cavaliers extended their advantage to 68-43 at halftime, marking the Raptors’ largest halftime deficit of the season.
De’Andre Hunter added 18 points, while Sam Merrill and Darius Garland contributed 16 and 15, respectively. Jarrett Allen posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Evan Mobley tallied 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Hunter’s three-pointer with 5:19 remaining in the third quarter pushed the Cavaliers’ lead to 95-56, their largest margin of the game. Toronto never threatened a comeback as Cleveland controlled the pace throughout.
RJ Barrett, returning from concussion protocol, scored 27 points for the Raptors, who have now lost five of their last six games. Scottie Barnes recorded 16 points and 11 rebounds, but it was not enough to keep Toronto competitive.
The Cavaliers completed a four-game season sweep of the Raptors, winning three of the matchups by double digits. Cleveland’s total margin of victory across the series was 73 points.
The Raptors struggled to generate offense early, shooting just 39.5% in the first half while committing nine turnovers. They shot better in the second half but were unable to overcome their slow start.
Immanuel Quickley and Ochai Agbaji chipped in 15 points each for Toronto, but the team’s defense could not contain Cleveland’s balanced scoring attack. The Cavaliers knocked down 18 three-pointers while shooting 48.5% from the field overall.
The game marked the final contest for both teams before the All-Star break. Cleveland enters the break with the best record in the East, while Toronto sits near the bottom of the conference standings at 17-38.
