Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart led the New York Knicks to a 128-115 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night. Towns posted 40 points and 12 rebounds, while Hart contributed 30 points and 10 boards.

The Knicks improved to 35-18 and secured their first win in Indianapolis since April 2023. Indiana, now 29-23, lost all three home games against New York in last season’s playoff series.

Towns dominated early, scoring 24 points in the first half on 9-of-12 shooting. He finished 14-of-23 from the field, while Hart took over in the second half, making 12 of 16 attempts overall.

Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 24 points, while Thomas Bryant, filling in for the injured Myles Turner, added 18 points and nine rebounds. Bennedict Mathurin also scored 18 for Indiana.

New York seized control with a 10-0 run in the second quarter, turning a tight contest into a 68-60 halftime lead. The Pacers closed the gap to 89-85 late in the third, but the Knicks responded and pulled away.

Despite missing OG Anunoby and dealing with Jalen Brunson’s foul trouble, Tom Thibodeau’s squad found enough firepower in Towns and Hart to secure the win.

Indiana struggled to contain New York’s offense and shot just 29% from three-point range. The Knicks capitalized on their 48-36 rebounding advantage, outscoring the Pacers 19-6 in second-chance points.

Miles McBride added 15 points off the bench for New York, hitting all four of his three-point attempts. Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson combined for 14 points and 12 assists.

Tyrese Haliburton recorded 16 points and eight assists for Indiana but committed four turnovers. Obi Toppin and T.J. McConnell combined for 16 points off the bench.

New York shot 53.8% from the field, while Indiana finished at 48.3%. The Knicks also held a significant edge at the free-throw line, making 20-of-23 attempts compared to the Pacers’ 20-of-26.
