The Orlando Magic (25-27) ended their four-game losing streak with a dominant 130-111 victory over the Sacramento Kings (25-25) on Wednesday night. The performance spoiled Zach LaVine’s debut with Sacramento, as the former Chicago Bull struggled to make an impact.

Wagner led the charge with a game-high 31 points, shooting 12-of-22 from the field and 5-of-6 from three. He was instrumental in the Magic’s third-quarter surge, where they outscored the Kings 42-23. Paolo Banchero contributed 23 points, while Anthony Black added 15. The Orlando bench also played a key role, with Goga Bitadze and Cole Anthony both scoring 14 points each.

The Kings, who were riding a seven-game home win streak, couldn’t find a rhythm as Orlando built a commanding lead. Despite 21 points and 13 rebounds from Domantas Sabonis, Sacramento could not overcome the Magic’s offensive firepower. DeMar DeRozan finished with 19 points, and LaVine, who was traded to Sacramento on Sunday in a three-team deal, scored 13 in his first game with the Kings.

Orlando shot an impressive 56.8% from the field and 51.6% from three, while also converting 93.3% of their free throws. The Magic’s efficiency was on full display as they recorded 104 points through three quarters, leaving the Kings with little hope of a comeback in the final period.

The Kings had a rough shooting night, making just 50.0% of their shots and a mere 37.0% from beyond the arc. LaVine’s struggles from three-point range (0-for-4) were a glaring issue for Sacramento.

The Magic’s win also marked the end of a seven-game road losing streak. Orlando will now look to build on this momentum as they return home for their next stretch of games. Sacramento, meanwhile, will aim to regroup after this tough loss and find a way to integrate LaVine into their system.

The Kings’ bench provided some production, with Keon Ellis scoring 12 points and Devin Carter adding nine. However, Sacramento couldn’t overcome Orlando’s offensive efficiency.
