The Detroit Pistons secured a 127-119 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, led by Cade Cunningham’s 22 points and 15 assists. The win improved Detroit to 25-24 on the season, while Chicago fell to 21-29.

Cunningham, fresh off his first All-Star selection, didn’t have his most efficient shooting night, hitting 10 of 23 shots and going 2-for-6 from three-point range. However, he kept the Pistons’ offense flowing with his playmaking, helping seven Detroit players score in double figures.

Jalen Duren provided a dominant presence inside, finishing with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Malik Beasley came off the bench to add 19 points, including five three-pointers, as Detroit’s depth proved too much for Chicago.

The Bulls were led by Coby White, who scored 22 points, while Josh Giddey contributed 20 points and 11 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic recorded a triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, but Chicago couldn’t generate enough defensive stops in key moments.

Vucevic hit a three-pointer with 6:13 remaining to cut the Pistons’ lead to 111-104, but Detroit responded with a series of clutch plays. Cunningham set up back-to-back dunks for Ausar Thompson and Duren, followed by three-pointers from Tim Hardaway Jr. and Beasley, pushing the game out of reach.

The Bulls played without Zach LaVine, who missed his third straight game due to personal reasons. Detroit, meanwhile, welcomed Isaiah Stewart back to the lineup after he served a one-game suspension for his role in an altercation during the team’s previous win over Dallas.
