The New York Knicks routed the Memphis Grizzlies 143-106 on Monday night at Madison Square Garden, ending the Grizzlies’ six-game winning streak. Mikal Bridges led the charge with 28 points, six assists, and five rebounds, while Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 24 points and 11 rebounds for New York.

The Knicks, who improved to 31-16, extended their winning streak to four games and scored 143 points for the second consecutive outing. Jalen Brunson added 20 points and six assists for New York, which has now won 16 of its last 22 games.

The Grizzlies, also 31-16, struggled with turnovers throughout the night. Memphis committed 26 turnovers, 19 of which came in the first three quarters, allowing the Knicks to capitalize with a 36-14 edge in points off turnovers. Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 21 points, while Desmond Bane chipped in 16.

Bridges not only delivered on offense but also played a pivotal role on defense, limiting Memphis star Ja Morant to just 10 points on 5-of-13 shooting. Morant finished with a game-worst plus-minus of -41 as the Knicks dominated while he was on the floor.

New York’s decisive run began late in the second quarter when Brunson picked up his fourth foul. Despite his absence, the Knicks closed the first half on a 7-2 spurt, leading 60-52 at halftime. After the break, the Knicks erupted offensively, outscoring Memphis 42-32 in the third quarter and 83-54 in the second half.

Towns anchored the paint, grabbing six offensive rebounds as the Knicks outrebounded Memphis 46-47. Josh Hart pulled down 10 boards and dished five assists, while OG Anunoby’s defensive effort led to six steals.

The Grizzlies’ bench contributed 45 points, with Brandon Clarke and Santi Aldama each scoring 10, but the team struggled to find consistent offensive rhythm.

New York’s bench provided valuable support as well, with Miles McBride and Precious Achiuwa scoring 14 points each. Achiuwa also added four steals and two blocks in just 20 minutes of play.

The Knicks (31-16) will look to continue their momentum as they prepare to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night. The Grizzlies (31-16) aim to bounce back when they visit the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
