The Los Angeles Clippers (26-19) snapped the Milwaukee Bucks’ five-game winning streak on Saturday night, securing a 127-117 victory. James Harden led the charge with 40 points, propelling the Clippers past the Bucks (25-18) in a thrilling contest.

Harden’s 40-point performance came after a quiet first half, where he scored just 12. The Clippers trailed by 11 points at halftime, but Harden turned up the heat in the third quarter, scoring 17 points, including 15 straight to end the period. By the time the buzzer sounded, Los Angeles held a 94-93 lead.

Norman Powell was also instrumental in the win, adding 33 points. Kawhi Leonard chipped in 18 points in just three quarters, contributing to the Clippers’ offensive firepower. The team’s flawless 28-for-28 shooting from the free-throw line played a significant role in their triumph.

For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered another standout performance, scoring 36 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. He was a dominant force, making 12 of 15 free throws. Damian Lillard added 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, recording his second consecutive triple-double. However, the Bucks fell short despite their efforts.

Milwaukee started the fourth quarter with a three-point lead, but the Clippers quickly regained control. Powell’s dunk ignited a 14-0 run, with Harden capping the spree with a crucial 3-pointer, pushing Los Angeles ahead 112-100.

Milwaukee struggled defensively, allowing the Clippers to score efficiently, while the Bucks had trouble matching the Clippers’ offensive surge. Despite their best efforts, including a solid outing from Lillard, the Bucks couldn’t overcome the Clippers’ late-game run.
