The Golden State Warriors, led by Stephen Curry’s 21-point performance, secured a dominant 131-106 win over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night. The victory at Chase Center evened the Warriors’ record at 22-22 for the season.

Quinten Post stepped up with a career-high 20 points, showcasing his efficiency by hitting five three-pointers. Gui Santos contributed 19 points off the bench, connecting on five of his six three-point attempts, while Andrew Wiggins added 17 points and seven rebounds.

Curry, who played in back-to-back games for the first time since November, shot 5-for-12 from beyond the arc. Earlier in the day, the 36-year-old guard was named an All-Star for the 11th time, breaking the franchise record previously held by Paul Arizin.

The Bulls were led by Zach LaVine, who tallied 24 points, and Josh Giddey, who recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. However, Chicago struggled to keep up after the Warriors exploded for a 31-point third quarter and a 37-point fourth quarter.

Golden State dominated on both ends of the floor, outscoring Chicago 68-42 in the second half. The Warriors shot 43.9% from three-point range, draining 25 triples compared to the Bulls’ 16. Their bench also played a pivotal role, contributing 83 points in the rout.

For Chicago, the loss dropped them to 19-26 on the season. The team was without guard Coby White, who is sidelined with a bone bruise in his right ankle. White’s absence was felt as the Bulls struggled to find consistent offense outside of LaVine and Giddey.

Draymond Green missed his third consecutive game for Golden State due to a strained left calf. Despite his absence, the Warriors showed improved energy after a disappointing loss to the Kings the previous night, where they had squandered an 18-point lead.
