Chris Paul from San Antonio Spurs after the first match against Indiana Pacers in the NBA Paris Global Games 2025, was more than pleased that his team scored the important victory (110-140 for Spurs).
One of the participants of the post-game press conference was famous CP3, now with San Antonio Spurs. Chris started his NBA career in 2005 with New Orleans and now, with San Antonio Spurs after twenty years is still doing the great job and helping young teammates to learn and grow as individuals and and together as a team.
Chris Paul is one of the legends and player that played together with a lot of NBA legends and great player and now is playing with talented French center Victor Wembanyama, who is on his journey of becoming on of the best players in the NBA.
“I recommend Victor to keep being himself. I told him after the game that this is the best, most complete game I saw him play all season long. With expectation of playing at home, in front of family and friends, in front of you guys (media representatives), some players would get lost in the game, but I think he played a great game, at both ends of the court. And it is really nice to get the win in the first of the two games”, said CP3 about young teammate.
“This is the fourth time that we have this type of the situation, that we playing two games in row against the same team. And not one time that we won both games. With Denver we split, with Houston we split, with Memphis we lost both games, so I think these games are lot like the playoffs. These are all learning experiences for our team”, mentioned Chris importance of playing against the same teams in row for his team’s growth.
“Moving around as much as I moved around for the last few years, the game felt like an All Star game at the beginning. The court-side, all the people in there, the fans that were in here. It just felt like an All Star game until ball was up. I think that is actually good for our team. Our team hasn’t have much opportunity to play in those big time games. I think the one of the biggest games we had this season was that game against Phoenix, the game that could put us in the NBA Cup. And I think, the more we have these types of games, and get that sort of playoffs feel, the better is for our team”, said Chris Paul in the post-game press conference at the NBA Paris Global Games.
