The Oklahoma City Thunder cruised to a 118-102 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night, fueled by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 32 points and Jalen Williams’ 24. The Thunder, now 33-6, extended their dominant stretch, winning 18 of their last 19 games.
Philadelphia, missing All-Stars Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Paul George, struggled offensively. Rookie Justin Edwards led the Sixers with 25 points, while Jeff Dowtin Jr. added 18. The loss drops Philadelphia to 15-23, deepening their Eastern Conference playoff hopes.
Gilgeous-Alexander, who entered the contest tied for the league scoring lead at 31.4 points per game, surpassed his average with a late pair of free throws in the fourth quarter. He shot an efficient 12-of-15 from the field and added nine assists, solidifying his status as one of the NBA’s top offensive weapons.
Jalen Williams contributed six assists and three steals for the Thunder, while center Isaiah Hartenstein dominated the glass with 16 rebounds to go along with nine points.
Oklahoma City’s bench provided additional support, with Isaiah Joe scoring 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting. The Thunder’s defensive intensity limited the 76ers to just 44% shooting from the field and 29.5% from beyond the arc.
For Philadelphia, Guerschon Yabusele scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds in his starting role. However, the team’s 21 turnovers and lack of interior presence without Embiid proved costly.
