Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam combined for 50 points to help the Indiana Pacers secure a 108-96 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. Indiana improved to 21-18 and extended its winning streak to five games.
Haliburton showcased his all-around game with 25 points and 10 assists, while Siakam contributed 25 points and 10 rebounds. The Pacers dominated the paint with a 54-46 scoring advantage and held the Warriors to 41.8% shooting from the field.
Golden State, playing without six key players, including Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins, struggled to keep pace. Former Pacers guard Buddy Hield and Pat Spencer led the shorthanded Warriors with 17 points apiece. Spencer’s performance marked a season high as he capitalized on his extended minutes.
Bennedict Mathurin added 21 points and 10 rebounds for Indiana. Myles Turner provided stability in the paint with 11 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks. The Pacers’ bench also contributed, with T.J. McConnell tallying 10 points and six assists in just 17 minutes.
Golden State’s Kyle Anderson posted eight points, seven rebounds, and five assists, while Trayce Jackson-Davis notched nine points and 10 rebounds in his home state. Despite their depleted roster, the Warriors showcased effort and resilience, especially from their role players.
Indiana will look to extend its streak when they host the Miami Heat on Sunday. Golden State, now 19-19, aims to regroup as they return home to face the Memphis Grizzlies.
