Here’s Brooklyn Nets sophomore Noah Clowney on his confidence as a three-point shooter after last night’s 113-98 home loss vs. the Detroit Pistons (29 points/6 rebounds/3 assists/2 steals/9-20 FG/5-11 3-PT/6-6 FT).
*set career-highs in points, assists, made field goals, and made free throws/tied career-best for steals*
(via Brooklyn Nets):
“What I like to call it is I like to keep teams honest. I don’t like where teams have the ability to sag off me because I’m a weak shooter. I feel like that hurts my team in general. So if I’m able to shoot the ball and I can keep somebody honest to keep the floor spaced for my guys to get in the lane, then that’s always been the goal. So after ‘Bama, I think I shot 29% at Alabama, something like that. But I know I can shoot. I think other people know I can shoot. Somebody took a chance, and here we are.”
