Anadolu Efes has added guard PJ Dozier to its roster for the rest of the EuroLeague season, following his recent departure from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The move, first reported by Mihalis Stefanou, brings the 28-year-old back to the EuroLeague.

Dozier played just nine games for the Timberwolves this season, averaging 0.8 points in 3.9 minutes per contest. After joining Minnesota in the offseason, he struggled to find a consistent role and was waived earlier this month.

Before his stint with the Timberwolves, Dozier spent the 2023-24 season with Partizan Belgrade. He delivered solid performances in the EuroLeague, averaging 9.2 points, 3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 21 minutes per game. His contributions helped Partizan maintain playoff contention last year.

Anadolu Efes currently holds a 10-9 record in the EuroLeague, sitting in ninth place. The Turkish powerhouse has been seeking reinforcements to bolster its playoff push under new head coach Luca Banchi, who recently replaced Tomislav Mijatovic.

Dozier’s versatility as a scorer and playmaker could provide a much-needed spark for Efes as they navigate the competitive EuroLeague standings. The addition comes at a critical time, as Efes aims to reclaim its dominance in the league after missing the playoffs last season.
