Pascal Siakam delivered a standout performance, recording 25 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 120-111 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night. Myles Turner contributed 19 points as the Pacers improved to 13-15 on the season with their fourth win in five games.
Indiana’s decisive 15-4 run in the third quarter created a 97-83 lead heading into the final frame. The Pacers extended their advantage to 105-86 early in the fourth, capitalizing on their strong three-point shooting, hitting 16 of 41 attempts from beyond the arc.
Tyrese Halliburton added a double-double with 13 points and 12 assists, shooting 4-for-9 from three-point range. Andrew Nembhard matched Turner’s output with 19 points, while Indiana’s bench contributed valuable minutes, including 13 points and eight rebounds from Obi Toppin.
Kevin Durant led the Suns with 37 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort, shooting 15-for-27 from the field. Bradley Beal, returning from a two-game absence due to a swollen right knee, added 16 points. Devin Booker chipped in 17 but exited in the third quarter with groin tightness, leaving Phoenix (14-12) shorthanded in the critical moments.
The Suns struggled from three-point range, converting just 9 of 30 attempts. They also committed 16 turnovers, leading to 29 points for the Pacers. Despite shooting 49% from the floor, Phoenix’s inability to protect the ball proved costly.
Indiana demonstrated excellent ball movement, tallying 30 assists on 39 made field goals. T.J. McConnell led the second unit with 11 points and five assists, helping the Pacers maintain their offensive rhythm throughout the game. Their aggression also paid off at the free-throw line, where they converted 26 of 31 attempts.
The Suns’ injury woes continued as Booker’s departure further disrupted their chemistry. Beal’s return offered a brief spark, but Phoenix struggled to sustain momentum without their full roster. Grayson Allen provided eight points and 10 rebounds off the bench, while Royce O’Neale added nine points and six boards.
