Olympiacos (10-6) recovered from a second-quarter collapse to secure an 87-77 victory over Virtus Bologna (3-13) in a EuroLeague clash on Tuesday. The home team’s performance was spearheaded by Sasha Vezenkov and Evan Fournier, who delivered standout contributions to end their recent struggles.

Vezenkov dominated with a 38 PIR, scoring 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He was efficient from the field, hitting 8-of-12 shots, and converted 9-of-11 free throws. Fournier added 20 points, seven assists, and five boards, providing critical support as Olympiacos ended its patchy run of form.

Olympiacos took control early, racing to a 25-7 lead late in the first quarter. However, Virtus stormed back, led by Marco Belinelli’s hot hand, and overturned the deficit to take a 46-43 lead at halftime. Belinelli finished with 20 points, shooting 75% from two-point range and 50% from deep.

Thomas Walkup and Nikola Milutinov also made notable contributions for Olympiacos. Walkup chipped in seven points, five rebounds, and three assists, while Milutinov added eight points and eight boards.

Virtus struggled to maintain their momentum in the second half. While Matthew Morgan added 15 points and Ante ZiZic scored eight, the visitors were unable to match Olympiacos’ energy on both ends of the court. The Italian side also committed 10 turnovers, which Olympiacos capitalized on with fast-break points.
