James Harden erupted for 41 points, including 24 in the first quarter, as the Los Angeles Clippers dismantled the Utah Jazz 144-107 on Monday night.

The Clippers (15-12) snapped their three-game losing streak, posting their highest point total of the season. Harden’s offensive outburst set the tone early, as Los Angeles built a commanding 81-47 halftime lead.

Harden delivered 34 points by halftime, outscoring the Jazz singlehandedly in the first quarter (24-20) with a deep 29-foot three-pointer to close the frame.

Norman Powell added 29 points on 12-of-16 shooting, while Ivica Zubac contributed a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Amir Coffey chipped in with 16 points as Los Angeles shot 59.8% from the field and 53.8% from beyond the arc.

Head coach Tyronn Lue’s squad displayed relentless efficiency early, connecting on 72.7% of their three-pointers in the first quarter. The dominance came as the Clippers seek a resurgence with Kawhi Leonard (knee) nearing his season debut.

Utah (5-20) struggled defensively, continuing their woes by allowing 119.3 points per game entering the matchup. Jordan Clarkson led the Jazz with 20 points, while Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton added 17 and 15 points, respectively.

Utah’s defensive lapses were evident as the Clippers shot over 63% in the first half. The Jazz dropped to 3-10 on the road and have now lost eight of their last nine games.
