“We’ve liked him all along. We thought he was in the top 14 in the draft, and he slipped into the second round for unknown reasons. Probably because he looks like he’s a teenager, though, he’s a teenager… Probably because he looks like a middle schooler facially. But his young looks belie his toughness, he’s a tough kid. He’s solid. He’s smart. He knows how to play the game. He’s a ball mover. He’s an energy giver. So he did a lot of good things in this game, and we needed it. We were looking for a spark wherever we could get it. Look, he’s a kid that played four in college, and in the second half we had starting at two. So that shows the versatility that he has, too.”
