Anthony Davis reaffirmed his commitment to chasing another NBA championship alongside LeBron James, expressing their shared goal of bringing another title to the Los Angeles Lakers. In an interview with FOX Sports, Davis emphasized the team’s drive to win, especially with the postseason picture beginning to take shape.

“Right now we’re in control of our own destiny since we’re sitting in the [sixth] seed, so we’ve just got to continue to do what we do,” Davis said. “[LeBron and I] definitely want to win another championship. I want to win another championship. I want a parade. I want to experience that.”

The 31-year-old forward has been in stellar form this season under head coach JJ Redick. Davis is averaging 28.6 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2 blocks per game, showcasing dominance on both ends of the floor.

James, who has remained a steady force at 39 years old, is averaging 22.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 9.4 assists in 35.2 minutes per game.

The Lakers currently hold a 12-9 record, placing them eighth in the Western Conference standings. The team has shown flashes of championship-caliber play but remains focused on building consistency.

Davis noted the collective determination within the roster, adding that younger players are also hungry for their first championship. “I know some guys on our team want to win their first one. We’re all competitive and we’re all playing for each other and just trying to play the right way for one common goal,” he said.

Davis also emphasized the importance of maintaining their focus as the season progresses. “It’s about keeping that mindset and not taking any games off. Every game matters,” he said.
