Washington Wizards veteran Malcolm Brogdon talked about the offensive improvement of rookie Alex Sarr following Tuesday’s 127-108 NBA Cup home loss vs. the Chicago Bulls (20 points/7 rebounds/3 assists/zero turnovers/1 steal/1 block/7-11 FG/4-5 3-PT/2-4 FT).

“I always tell Alex, ‘Take your time. You’re not known as a shooter right now. You shoot the ball solid. You’re gonna get better and better. But if you’re out there, if you’re gonna pop, take your time shooting ‘em. Don’t rush.’ And I think he’s learned that. I think tonight he learned that he can take his time shooting the ball. He doesn’t have to rush. Earlier in the season, I think you saw him rushing a few threes. He’s really starting to slow down and really find his touch behind the three. And then, he’s also learning to roll a little bit to mix it up, to keep the defense on their toes. So, he’s young. He’s playing really well these last couple games, and he’s just gonna keep getting better.”
