De’Aaron Fox has embarked on a remarkable two-game run that is almost unparalleled in NBA history. Just one night after dropping 60 points in an overtime loss, Fox followed it up with a 49-point performance to lead the Sacramento Kings to victory.

This 109-point output across two games represents only the third instance in NBA history where a player has reached that threshold in consecutive outings. In 2007, Kobe Bryant achieved 110 points over two games.

Leading this elite group, as he does with most scoring records, is Wilt Chamberlain, who managed at least 109 points in back-to-back games an astounding 15 times throughout his career.

Reflecting on his explosive scoring, Fox attributed his success to staying aggressive on offense.

“Being able to get downhill and touching the paint has worked wonders,” Fox said. “Whenever you are able to do that, you’re able to one, get to the rim, two, get to the free throw line, and three, you’re able to still create for teammates. I’m trying to have a point of emphasis on that.”
